Okay, just found out yesterday I am going; driving over early Saturday with lurker Norman’s Mom and have fab seats for both finals. And probably the Saturday afternoon thing as well. 
Who else is going?
I’ll be there with my hubby. We are staying @ the MGM Grand. Have tickets for both Dressage and Jumping (up in the nosebleed section).
I was wondering if you were going?? I am there for the SJ and will buy a single seat for Dr! Perhaps a meeting up is in order?? Not sure where I am staying yet! :eek: More news later!
I’m going Weds - Sun for both Dressage and SJ. Now just have to figure out hotels & flights (ugh). Finding a hotel is proving to be a PITA.
MEP, can’t wait to finally meet you! And Gunnar, can’t wait to see you either, but I think any meeting up is going to have to take place at the venue itself. I need to build in LOTS of time for shopping on Sunday before the final, and we’re not getting there until right before the Saturday afternoon thingie.
Apparently we have fabulous seats. Can’t wait!

Great shopping, they have super vendors and I spent far too much money last time. Hope to do the same this time.

I am hoping to get some dressage tix, only if I can get good seats. Anyone want to trade? We have a house in Henderson, so we don’t have the fun of staying at the casinos. The best hotel that we’ve stayed in for the money was the Venetian.

Officially staying at Hooters! :eek::lol: Too cheap to pass on and Mr g likes Poker at the Excalibur so it is handy dandy! I will just have to drive to TM! 
I am going for DR (Thurs - Sat) and staying at the Southpoint. The Arabian Breeders WC is being held there.:winkgrin: Shopping at both WC and Southpoint is supposed to be really good! The list of vendors is on the WC website.
We are going to check out the arabian world cup too! It was going on last time we were at the WC in 2007. We learned that in the arabian halter classes they chase the horses around with plastic bags tied to sticks! It was a trip!!

I am meeting a friend from New Mexico there…we went in 2005 and had a blast. We, too, are staying at Hooter’s and a little abashed, but it’s so cheap, we couldn’t resist…$220 split between two of us for all four nights.
We also will be checking out the Arabian show at Southpoint…tho probably more for the shopping than the show. I have a half Arab, half Oldenburg I compete in open shows and Sporthorse on the Arabian circuit, but can barely stand to watch ‘regular’ Arabian competitions.
I just found out that I’m pretty sure I’m going. A friend has an extra set of dressage tickets and a hotel room so I’m planning to be there Friday AM-ish to Sunday. I’m excited! Will also see if I can get some show jumping tix.
Peggy, it never fails - you live only a short zippy drive from here and I only ever see you at Really Big Shows! We need to coordinate schedules so you, ChefJade and I can have a long gossipy lunch or dinner. And I am SO starting to do the WC Happy Dance!!!
