I'm home!!

I finally made it home after over a month in Atlanta Hospitals from a fall racing around a turn that was muddy hunting with Midland in early December. It was a long hard month for my family and friends ( I have no memory of being knocked out in the ICU for weeks)Wearing my inflatable vest that I just bought because the masters of Midland all wear one) saved my life…literally. They can come in black, red or navy to go over your formal coats. They are not traditional, but don’t aren’t too noticeable. I highly recommend one…eventers wear them, and thank goodness I bought one to support a friend who had been hurt and wore it that day…

I’m glad you’re back

Terrific news!!! Many of us COTHERS followed your recovery here and were hoping we’d hear from you soon.

Oh Happy Day!!!

Glad you are home. We were all worried about you. I knew you were on your way to recovery when you declined to tell how many horses you owned!!! Healing thoughts your way.

Wonderful news!!! So glad you are going to be ok:)

Welcome Home!

Thanks for updating us. Also, thanks for the info about the inflatable vest. I think the vests may be a good idea for lots of us. As we get older and want to keep riding, it makes sense to use the simple safety equipment that helps keep us in one piece.

Welcome back home and I hope the rest of your recovery is uneventful!

Yahoo!!!

:D:D:D

Such good news!!

You don’t know me, but it is wonderful to hear from you!!

We were all with you in spirit when we learned of your accident, hoped like mad for your recovery, and are so very happy to have you back!

Good news. Hope the rest of your year is peaceful.

So glad you are safely home! We were following your mishap on COTH too. Happy to say I will try to remember my vest whenever I go out! It doesn’t help much if it stays in the barn.

Great news ! I just bought a vest myself for Xmas and haven’t ridden in it yet since it’s been too darn cold but so glad to hear it saved you !

Get better and hope you’ll be back riding and hunting again.

Glad you’re back home!

So very happy for you and your family!
