Brenna was passing her placenta in this video. And the little guy had not nursed yet. In fact, it took him two hours to find her udder and actually nurse. I watched him suck …like a minute. I saw him pee and saw him pass his meconium. (saved it and the placenta for the vet to inspect lol)

Looks like your future dressage star :star:! How exciting that you will get to know, nurture, and teach this mustang from day 1!

Half a mustang…Only his sire is mustang. This mare is not a mustang. Other one is though…

Definitely a bay baby! Red foals always have light coloured feet and pink skin around their eyes unless they are going grey. Unless my eyesight is completely failing me this one has neither!

Foal colors are always so weird. It’s the “salmon” colored skin that indicates a chestnut, so you’ve got yourself a bay!

The legs have foal camouflage. That will fall out. Sometimes it can take a few years for the black to fill in completely.

FWIW, I find it easier to just have a YouTube account, upload it there, and then post the link here. No chopping and always seems to work.

Congratulations on your little guy! So glad that everything went smoothly too.
