I want to make a heads up to anyone that is on here not to purchase horses from Petr Dolezal on Facebook. I ended up with a few horses with fake vetting that were purchased from him. Both horses were not as advertised at all.

I’ve imported four from Petr. They’ve all been lovely and many have since been vetted by reputable U.S. vets with no surprises. I’m not sure what you mean by a “fake” vetting.
Also, given that it appears this user has already deleted their account, I seriously question the legitimacy of their claim. Sounds to me like someone got swayed by a slickly-edited sales video (yes, they do that) and a good price and didn’t do their due diligence. Importing off video isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you know to ask the right questions, you get the right answers.

I was sent x-rays that do not match up with the horses x-rays now. All the horses purchased had fantastic bloodlines and great videos. The horses previous injurys that were done before we purchased the horse did not show on the x-rays they sent us.
Did you look at the date on the X-rays? It’s not uncommon to receive X-rays that are a couple of years old. Horses aren’t static beings and X-rays do change over time. I will reshoot anything of concern or anything where the quality is bad.
X-rays are only relevant for that moment in time. I’ve had one get X-rays, look clean, and within 48 hours do something stupid in the pasture, have to do more X-rays and come back with something.
They are horses, they spend their whole life’s trying to kill themselves.

Yes the date was one-three weeks before we purchased the horse. The Damage that has been done was done 3-6 months prior to original x-rays.

I’m curious of all the horses came in at once with “fake” (?) vetting or you have bought multiple horses with repeat “fake” vetting. (if so- why would you keep buying from someone who burned you?)
What injury can you say was done 3-6 months prior? Was there remodeling of bone?
