Exit 399. You will want to go east at the bottom of the exit (I think this will actually be a left coming from your direction). Go a little over a mile and turn right on main st. You wont be able to miss Conestogas.

Well our Florida style get together was a treat. For you VA’ers following our thread, the nine of us gathered at an Alachua institution, Conastoga’s, which happens to be owned by a COTHer --hunterlane thank you for having our table ready. Someone would arrive at the door, looking around, but it was that horsey look which gave them away as members of our merry bunch.
I won’t claim to be snazzily turned out, but we didn’t get tossed anyway.
Best of all, I now have a trail guide for San Felasco Park, and some ins with the local hunts, a few good pony contacts, a lead on a pony harness and cart, and someone to call when asked where to send OTTB prospects in FL. I call that a power lunch 
Fernie and hunterlane, call or PM me next time you head to the park.
It was super fun! It was great to hear Maxxtrots and Windy Willows stories and to see 092556’s baby pics! I think we should do it again!

We finally had to make ourselves leave to get back to farms, work, and vet appointments, etc.
Glad you guys had fun. Hope you do it again and I can come - sad I had to miss it and the good food!

i had a great time. it was cool to get to meet people face to face.
as for my stories, i am full of those, get a lot being the crazy eventer in a group

Ha Ha I’m home! Went the long way home and tried not to get a speeding ticket! but …
no I didn’t:) I sorta got lost getting there tho . I got off the interstate went the right way but due to yaking on my cell phone and not paying attention I went right past main street and didnt turn while Fernie Fox watched me in the car behind me:) She knew it was me by my car tag and Hunt Logo. plus she knew I drive one of those gas saving hybrids!
I had to stop and ask and finally made it.Could barely say Hi, in fact I think the first thing out of my mouth was Wheres the the restroom ! I then almost went in the mens room accidently! No my hair’s not blond!
It was fun tho. Enjoyed the pony storys . Great place and cute main street! Hope to go back!
