coming home from work, going down Dunkleberger road to home, I saw them <again>!. At first, seeing folks perched where firearm hunters usually park their vehicles, but with binoculars and cameras…I stopped and looked, following their gaze and thought initially a “giggle” of dairy cattle were loose but no, it became obvious that hounds were working and I think staff/field were ratcatcher. After all these decades it was wonderful to see but even though I turned off NPR and rolled down the windows of my vehicle, failed to hear the “music” off hounds…and I miss that. Still, all in all, a delightful way to come home. This is the second time I have seen hounds, and would be anxious to participate in efforts to maintain a beautiful day of sport and establish wonderful pack/farmer relations in my area…
