Anyone know of/recommend an independent (jump) saddle fitter in or near the LA area?

Yes. Angie Taylor, (858) 335-8832. She sells and works on Trilogy saddles, and also fits and flocks anything else that doesn’t require major deconstruction.

Angie came to our northern Ventura County rural town to fit my neighbor’s and my horses and our saddles. I really liked her. Though she charges a flat rate regardless of what needs changing, she gave my neighbor and me a break because we combined our appointments.

My saddle is an ancient proto-Schleese, a Jes Elite, that I dearly love, and my neighbor’s is a new Bates that she wanted reassurance would fit her short-backed TB.

We’re having her back in August to fit my neighbor’s her Albion saddle to her draft cross and to re-check mine.

10 out of 10. Would recommend her to anyone.

Is there a good independent saddle fitter that regularly goes to the Los Angeles area? Especially one that’s also well versed in H/J saddles? (Yes, I know this is the dressage forum, but I’m posting here because you folks are much more knowledgeable in the importance of saddle fit than my h/j brethren )
