Independent Saddler/Fitter in Central New England

I have a new horse that is proving to be a bit of a tough fit.

I’d like to have someone out to evaluate and measure the horse, and give us some guidance as to what makes and models would be worth exploring. If they have an independent stockist relationship with some of the more niche custom brands that would be very cool, but I don’t want to work with someone directly employed by a brand as a rep.

I’m not sure if I’m looking for a type of professional that doesn’t exist, but I’ve found it difficult to find someone who could help fit us for a new saddle (or guide us to narrow down our search in the used market) that isn’t a direct rep, and isn’t strictly a fitter as we aren’t looking to modify an existing saddle.

Anyone have anyone that fits the bill? Thanks!

Welcome to COTH. Whereabout in CNE are you, it is a fairly large range and lots of saddle fitters have specific regions they will or will not go to. Feel free to PM if you’d prefer.

I’m not sure if Lise Krieger of New England Saddle Fit does exactly what you need, but I had a lovely experience with her last year, and would use her again in a heartbeat.
