Indestructible dog toys?
I will third this suggestion.
My dog who actively chews with his back teeth to destroy his turtle version of this toy ha yet to get any of the appendages all the way off. They are great toys!
She has one of these and ripped that one open too, but it took her longer than usual and she’s only opened it in very small spots. I removed what stuffing I could get to and she has it back for now. I did check the website, and they have a scale for their toys regarding toughness. The one she has is a 7, so maybe my next toy purchase will be a higher number on the scale.

The stuffing-less ones last a while in our house, but eventually are dismembered. We buy stuffed toys at Goodwill, usually, where if we’re only paying 99¢ for a toy it’s not as painful picking up toy guts as when we paid $5.99+. Neither dogs consider Kongs toys.

I give mine ones that are just braided rope in different shapes. I cut an old lead rope into 3 foot lengths and they love to play with those. I will buy stuffies at Goodwill but get tired of picking up toy guts sometimes too.

I used to sell the Bionic toys and had all good reviews, if the dog liked plastic-y toys.

Try the antlers for chews-

Elk antlers are softer than deer, which is very hard.
My three are voracious chewers, and these are the only thing we offer them anymore-I have a deer antler they have been working on for 10 months now. Ha.

I was eyeballing those at the pet store the other night and passed because they seemed expensive for even little ones. If they’re worth it I’ll give it a try.

A significant percentage of dogs will not touch the antlers. In fact, my informal surveys indicate that the majority of dogs won’t chew on them. See if you can find some naturally shed antlers- free- to try out on your dog before paying the ridiculous sums they charge in pet stores.
Most wooded areas are littered with deer antlers in many parts of the US.

Antlers are extremely expensive to buy but we get ours from the deer/elk we shoot and the sheds we find. The older they are the harder they are and they will become too sharp and unappealing without any smell to them.

Our dogs all love them but of course they’re fresh and gamey. Shed horn season is coming up, I should take some orders!

Thanks to both of you for confirming my initial thought regarding the antlers. I’ll pass on those and pay more attention to some of the other suggestions here.

I have not had any issues with dogs not wanting to chew antlers-over my own three, as well as about 15 other dogs that friends own and have switched to antlers. IMO, it’s worth a try, especially for a voracious chewer-the ones at pet stores are overpriced, and if you don’t have access to hunting antlers in the woods that have shed, I suggest ordering online-amazon will have great deals on them also. We feed both bought and shed ones we find, and have not noticed a great difference in the ‘want’ for them.
If you do buy one, go for the correct size for your dog though-not just small because it’s cheaper-too small and they might try to swallow it-as with anything.
IMO, it’s better to spend $30 on an antler that will last for anywhere from 2-10 months and better for your dog’s teeth than have to spend what will amount to equal or more than that for manmade toys that A) are not good for a dog’s natural chew behavior and teeth health, B) gets destuffed and thrown out, C) has the potential to be destuffed or chewed into bits that get eaten,…think bits of Kong, fluff, squeakers, etc.
I was hesitant at first with the price tag, but DH was smart and had me add up the cost of the toys we bought the dogs over the past 2-3 months. It was double that of 3 antler chews. Wowza. Well worth it.
We’ve been on both sides of this discussion, and ended up with the antlers. We still have a few stuffed (well, destuffed now!) toys in their ‘toy basket’ with several antlers, and the dogs go for the antlers over the toys, every time.
Here is some reading material if you are new to using antlers with dogs and some of the benefits-hope it helps to educate and inform so you can make an informed decision for your pup. :

My Doberman is a master chewer, he has well earned the nickname Destructo. My best money spent was on Water Buffalo horns specifically, not “typical” deer antler.

I picked up a three-pack of these at costco before christmas:

Gave the Golden one on Christmas day. It’s March 8, and it still lives. None of the parts have been gnawed off. A new longevity record for this dog. And it’s floppy. Which he loves.

This is the only toy our English Bull Terrier Ozzie cannot destroy.

I would be afraid my dog would swallow the bits of plastic or whatever it is made with.
