Happened to catch the final evening last night, it’s held in Las Vegas as is the NFR, but at South Pointe rather than Thomas and Mack. I have to say (start groaning and rolling your eyes now), those Indians can cowboy. And cowgirl. Note to the PRCA and for that matter the breed associations, our native friends have not just barrel racing, but also breakaway roping, on their circuit for the ladies. Which is very fun.
I agree, the best ropers I know are Indians. It’s compliment if someone tells you that you rope like an Indian
