YEA ERIC!!!
Hooray for Canada!
About the bush jumpingâwhat do you bet they talked about it with GM? In advance.
WOO HOO!!!
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Eric you so deserve it!!! Canada is so proud of you!!
Eric has always been my heroâŠnow everyone will see him the way I did!
I disagree - he had to go for it to have a shot at the time and that is the way jump offâs go. Either the distance is there and you look like a hero or it just isnât and you take it down.
Totally agree - had to go for it. Beezie had the same type of distance to the last fence and Authentic cleared it. Way to go to McLain for giving it a try.
Congrats to Beezie and Eric!!
INCREDIBLE!!! Where the bleep did his helmet go when he tossed it off?
WHAT A RIDE!!!
I canât remember if it was Athens or Sydney where several of them jumped a large rock to save time.
Now, thatâs made me blubber! Oh, Canada!
That was so freaking amazing. I LOVE ERIC! Way to prove all those naysayers who canât let go of his past wrong wrong wrong!!!
Great work everyone! Great jumping and super commentating!
Off to bed now
Is showjumping a great sport, or what?
Why this isnât on prime time TV every evening is beyond me. Great excitment.
Wow, what an awesome way to end it!!!
MANY congrats to Eric, Meredith (and the ever-heroic Shutterfly), Beezie and my hero Authentic!!!
Thanks to everybody for the updates.
What a performance - WOW, fantastic horse that Hickstead. Congratulations Canada - and Sweden too!!!
Hooray Canada!
Gee Iâll miss all this excitement!
Aaaaaaaaah!!!
Interesting how the top two riders went much slower around the course for the jump off. Just wanted to have a clear round as opposed to racing for speed.
Congrats to the winners and all the participants.
Oh boy!!! Eric ⊠I am speechless and my daughter and I sure let out the screamsâŠ
I will cry for sure at the medal presentation!!!
Bravo Eric and Hickstead!!!
and Ninja and BeezieâŠ
He so deserves it!
WOOOO YEAH!
Go Eric! Knew you could do it!
SO Incredibly proud of Eric right now!! Especially in light of a certain newspaper article up here stating that sending the horses and riders was a waste of time!.. TAKE THAT!!
I am so proud of Canada and the U.S. for such stellar performances in the show jumping. Go North America!!!
