I have a lovely Indoctro mare (dam sire celano (capitol)) who has unfortunately been injured so I am going to breed from her, which we were going to do in the future anyway. I would like to produce something to event, but also have the capability to do pure showjumping. I am currently looking at Balou du Route as he seems to produce offspring that are rideable and have better than average paces for a showjumping sire. I also like Contendro I, but I have heard that he often throws small foals and don’t want to end up with something that’s too small (my mare is 16.1hh). I would like to use something that improves her paces as they are a little basic. Any advice would be greatly accepted as I am new to breeding and there is so much choice!
