I have an off track 3yr old. Can anyone tell me about his bloodlines. Here is the link. http://www.pedigreequery.com/warriors+legacy2
Stuff like…
Are his bloodlines decent?
Should he be easy to work with or difficult?
thanks in advance!

The sire line goes to Man O’War. The further you travel back in the pedigree the better it gets. In Summation was a nice racehorse. Haven’t followed his stallion career. It appears from PQ that he is unraced.
as far as racehorses, go, yes - his bloodlines are fairly good; especially thru In Summation.
for sport, I think they are better. There are a lot of names in there I like for sport.
Put It Back is one of the last direct-male/sire lines for Man O’ War. Which is sad, I think, because IMHO that sire line produces a lot of very talented sport horses. Specifically, In Reality (MOW’s great-great grandson) who produced Relaunch, who then has produced innumerable horses for sport. To Relaunch’s credit, much of that talent comes from the dam -Foggy Note’s pedigree is bepopulate with sport-horse names.
Back to Put It Back; have you seen him? IMHO he is absolutely gorgeous. He seemed to produce pretty horses very consistently, that were fairly close in phenotype to him. I haven’t worked directly with any of his kids, but have friends who have had them and they’ve always been nice horses.
I think your horse’s dam side might be a little less promising from a sport horse perspective, but has some important commercial sires. Forty Niner has produced a few UL eventers that tend to be BTA movers, but not quite dressagey. I like Seattle Slew in a pedigree for lower level pursuits, IME he tends to produce rideability but sometimes they can be tough. I find they have more heart than athleticism, so don’t usually look at a Slew horse as an UL prospect. My experience with the horses in Kristal Dragon’s pedigree is that they want to GO; they need a job and they thrive with routine.
If I had to guess off of pedigree alone, I think he’d be fairly personable and easy to work with, but might be more forward than you expect which might make him seem more difficult than he really is. I wouldn’t expect super sensitive but also wouldn’t expect dead-quiet with good humor – but I would expect honest with a fair work ethic. I like that type of horse, but not all people do.
He has a fair amount of names in his pedigree that would suggest he is good natured and rideable, but it really comes down to him as an individual and his upbringing.
this pedigree screams speed to me. Distaff features sprinter Mr. Nickerson and Tax Dodge in the 2nd dam, and Put it Back and Honour and Glory on top are speed balls.
Have to agree with Beowulf about Put it Back having pretty babies. I have a gigantic mare by him, and she is put together so nicely. Just huge.
Purely trivia, but the dam line goes back to Man o’ War, too, via Hard Baked, a daughter of Hard Tack (best known, of course, as the sire of Seabiscuit.) Hard Baked is also inbred to Man o’ War’s sire Fair Play via her second dam, Misplay, and her dam, Black Flag, produced the Colin colt, Neddie, second sire of Alsab, the sire line that produced Armageddon, Ack Ack, and Broad Brush.
Wow! Thanks for the info and input. He is a beautiful, well put together, athletic looking horse. Loads of personality, very easy on the ground, but can be a bit difficult under saddle. He can be a bit ratty if he decides he doesn’t want to do something. He is definitely a creature of routine and lets me know it! Lol. Here is a link to his photo and a short video over a small jumps.
