I got my pre-made shed which sits on skids (about 4inches up) and a gravel pad with a floor. I have ruled out placing insulation underneath as I think the critters will chew/nest in it.
I have seen where people put down over the floor- stiff green/blue insulation board, with the board “framed in”/held in place by same thickness wood slats (screwed in) and plywood on top of the whole thing.
I have also seen the (expensive) OSB boards/squares for basements with less R value (but it looks so easy to install. and as shed will hold tack etc.-- keeping dry/damp-proof is another plus. )
Suggestions are appreciated on how to best insulate the floor and how much insulation R-value is needed to make it tolerable (mid-Atlantic/region 4) and …what not to do. TIA
