Seems like while we have had chickens for a long time, it’s only rather recent that they became what we know today.
Well, yes, production birds bred for profit are definitely not natural. And, sadly they tend to show it through poor health and shortened lives. Interesting that they focused on the yellow skin, I wonder how the Silkies ended up with black skin. Cool paper.
