Interlocking stall mats on West Coast?

I can’t seem to find anyone who sells these on west coast, and the freight from mid-west/east is $600+ (!).

Does anyone on west coast use them, and who is your source?

I have heard of zip-typing regular stall mats together – anyone try that? I keep thinking the muck fork will catch on them.

faced with a similar problem when our warehouse staff would forget to include the steel counter weights for commercial barrier arm gate ,it would be about $300 to just ship weights motor freight…however I found the weights would fit in a large priority mail box…then it was about $12 to ship the 60 pounds of weights…which often beat the motor freight shipment

then there is the bank in Vernal, Co where it was found out the bricks cold be sent by mail cheaper than frieght

Back when I was looking for some all I could find were manufactured on the west coast. I searched by the names I knew and googled interlocking mats. And the shipping for mats for one stall was cost prohibitive. Tell me where you are finding some on the east coast.

Well,not exactly the east coast - but from SoCal, the midwest seems like the east coast, lol. It looks like Ohio and Wisconsin seem to mfg them – I find it hard to believe only midwest clients want them.

I used to use Summit Rubber, but it looks like they don’t offer them anymore.

I checked at my local feed store and they said they used to carry them, but no one wanted them because they were more expensive.

Tractor Supply looks like they will ship to your local store for free, but I didn’t read the fine print. Their interlocking mats are at a stiff premium – a regular 4x6 mat is ~$60, but the interlocking ones are $163 each!!

I have a feeling I am going to have to use straight-edge mats…

I found that out shipping a saddle pad – putting it in a used inside-out feed bag and USPS was cheap!

Also, I heard that some use Greyhound Bus to move their belongings… takes longer, but if no rush, might be worthwhile.
