Internet Live Streaming Status

As of 10:15 a.m. EDT on Saturday 9/25:

FEItv ($34.99) is working and Anky Van Grunsven is doing her reining test into current 4th place.

USEFNetwork (free) is not working.

Universal Sports ($29.99) doesn’t start coverage until Monday but their site is working fine.

You get what you pay for.

Thank you! Was getting a headache trying to figure out all the options & was not sure if some countries would be blocked.

Just bought the FEI one and it works from Canada.

And also access for all the Europeans by FEI-TV

I have been trying to log on and see the FEITV live coverage. I have a monthly pass and it keeps directing me to the Sign up sheet even if it welcomes me back

Their option? Remove all my cookies and passwords and its all my browsers problem even though I’m not haveing any trouble with other streaming websites :frowning:

FEITV

Competition is on a break right now.

After you log in
Go to lower left corner and click on the block to view live
Then go to right side where there is a list of all the programs
Click on the live streaming progrm…which for right now is reining part one.

You have to get to the listing of the programs page so that you can select the live stream.

USEF Network now working.

At 2:30 pm EDT on Saturday 9/25 USEFNetwork is now working as is FEItv. The coverage of reining is exactly the same from both sources.

Before I even try to buy anything, it tells me contents is not available from my location which is Canada.
CBC Bold does not seem to have much to offer.
Sigh

www.usefnetwork.com I am watching LIVE reining right now!!! No Cost!

Thanks SmplySweet! That works for me!

A friend of mine owns Mister Montana Nic so I hope to watch him this afternoon.

I’m in Montreal and it works. I signed up for the monthly FEI TV and then you go to LIVE and on the right hand side there’s a list of “Upcoming Live Broadcasts”. Click on the one that is going on now (normally the one on top).

Right now, they seem to be on a break or something because I get a commercial but maybe check tonight during the opening ceremonies (7 pm).

oh, I found this on the FEI TV website (see below) - so according to them, it’s available in Canada:

If you are experiencing any problems accessing the content provided on the FEItv.org website we would like to help you find out what is causing the problem

Access to Service:

The service requires to be accessed using Internet Explorer 6.0+ and Flash Player 9.0.115 or later installed. All videos on the website are available to view on both PC and Mac operating systems. Get the latest Macromedia Flash plugin.

Live Coverage: For World Equestrian Games (WEG)

Live: Available in all territories except Europe

VOD Catchup: Available in all territories

So if I am reading the USEF Network Broadcast Schedule correctly, they broadcast the reining (at least), but Universal Sports will broadcast most of the others (like dressage), and so we’ll have to pay to watch that??? As in, USEF will NOT broadcast dressage, etc?

Grr.

Well, that’s not USEF’s fault. Universal has the licensing, and USEF can only broadcast whatever Universal isn’t interested in.

Those of us in the “emerging IHP disciplines” are damn GRATEFUL to USEF that we’ll get to see anything of our sports at all!

Just lost my connection.

Is Universal Sports on the computer or on TV? Is it free or $$$?

Universal Sports has LIMITED coverage on TV but most of it will be premium purchase on the net. universalsports.com

Does anyone know if you can watch videos of the events after they air live on universal or FEI? Trying to decide whether or not to spring for a subscription but a lot of things I probably won’t be able to watch live…but then if I can watch replays it will definitely be worth it.

I just checked and yes, on the FEI TV site, you have all the videos on demand - Opening ceremonies and Reining Part 1 and 2 at this point.

I can’t get the USEF network site to work…anyone with a Mac using Safari have any tips?

Nevermind got the video to work. I’m also watching NBC at the same time and the same thing is not on both videos…is one live and one not? I thought both were but obviously they are different haha!

Sorry for all of the questions…which site will have the most SJ coverage?
