If you live in Maryland or NoVa, Potomac Hunt is having a “Hopeful Hunter Clinic” August 18 and 19. I am co-organizing and I am happy to answer your questions. I would love to see you at our FREE Hound Walk Happy Hour on August 18 as well!

Good on you and the Hunt. Even our local somewhat self centered Hunt is “reaching out” these days. I think they have finally seen the writing on the wall that things aren’t like they used to be for generations. New land owners moving into our area who have no interest in hunting nor the Hunt by and large.

A number of years ago I suggested that the Hunt should offer “scholarships” to young and worthy. Who’s families do not have the financial means to pay the Hunt’s rather hefty membership dues. Didn’t get much traction.

Have you posted the same on a Hunting FB page? Maybe in something like In Search of Hunt horses?
