Has anyone used a brand other than Invisible Fence for their Invisible Fence collars? At $25 a pop one of the dogs is blowing through her name brand ones. Any alternatives? My dog doesn’t seem to kill hers as quickly. Don’t want to waste money on a generic that does not last. Anyone have any ones that work as well as or better for cheaper than the Invisible Fence branded batteries?
Please no comments about if invisible fences are cruel. The dogs get 8 acres out of 80 to roam. It is just that little extra insurance to keep them at the home farm. They were going a few miles down the road without them. It is hard to work with 30+ horses and keep track of 3 labs and a JRT. Hard fencing on this farm is not really practical.
