Last year International Helmet Awareness Day was mid-September. The https://www.riders4helmets.com/ website hasn’t been updated since 2019. The same is true of their FB page. I see no mention on Dover, Smartpak, Riding Warehouse, etc. Is it just not happening this year?
Update from Riding Warehouse: this year’s International Helmet Awareness Day will be on September 12-13. I’ll be buying another helmet from them for sure!

thanks for bumping this up! I saw an ad by Ovation on Facebook about it earlier this week but the riders4helmets website still had 2019 info on it.
Looks like more and more retailers are now getting ready for this weekend! I’ve gotten emails from Dover and Stateline so far.
This western rider is going to get herself a spiffy new helmet so I can fit in with all the h/j folks at my barn!

Riding Warehouse sent out an email for up to 50% off helmets!
FWIW, I tried all of the different brands of MIPS helmets and ended up keeping the Tipperary Windsor. I absolutely love it and actually forget I’m wearing at times.
Riding Warehouse has them on sale!
