Or have I just been blocked so hard I can’t even find it in a search anymore? I can’t find Dressage Hub’s Facebook page any longer and all old posts seem to have gone poof!
Unfortunately, no. She’s been very vitriolic lately. It’s pretty toxic these days - be glad you can’t find anything. Never knew someone who hates their own country’s athletes more than she does.
Did you read Lauren Sprieser’s blog on the front of the Chronicle today? She doesn’t name any names, but she mentions the damage that DH and others are doing to the sport of dressage on social media. I wish her site had been taken down. Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen. Free speech and all that.
If you get blocked on FB everything from that person becomes invisible as do you to them.
I could see the blog still for a very long time. It was a couple years ago I got blocked from commenting. Funny enough, I got blocked for almost the exact reason Lauren called out in her blog. SW had cherry picked some tense moments from a young horse test at Gladstone to bash. The actual test was quite nice if you watched the video, so I called her out. Can’t say I’m sorry. Spying every once in a while was fun though
Sigh I guess it was too much to hope for.
Yeah, I don’t think I’ll be missing much.
I can’t see it either, but there’s quite a few posts on Fb that pop up going after her?
Could it be?
DING DONG?
She sometimes urges her readers to dox people who disagree with her posts so watch out. The FB page is still up and making fun of a Canadian junior rider who’s upper level horse spooked and spun and dumped her, suggesting that she spend more time learning to ride.
No she’s still there, it’s just that now some people who were blocked from commenting are now blocked from even seeing the page.
Her latest target is a 21-year old, competing for Canada in the Nations Cup on a horse she’s only had for a month. Horse did a sudden drop shoulder / spin / spook at a flower pot just before entering ring. Rider came off, landed on her feet and got ruthlessly mocked by DH for it. DH conveniently omitted the fact that the young rider got back on immediately, when straight in the ring and rode a 69% GP test, even though she was eliminated. That’s what I call good horsemanship and good sportsmanship but God forbid DH should recognize that, especially since the kids coach is Brittany Fraser and the horse’s owner is Jill Irving - both frequent targets of DH bullying.
I’d love to see DH ride a 69% test at any level, let alone at GP on a sharp horse lol
What did she get eliminated for? If for coming off before the test, why did they let her ride it?
Can someone post the link to the FB page. I’ve never followed or commented so wondering how I’m blocked but want to see if I truly am lol
DH is everything wrong with social media. What a vile vile human being.
Thank you! Yep I’m blocked. It’s an honor. Maybe her and NP shared their list of haters lol
I assume she was eliminated for not entering the ring within 30 seconds of her music starting.
I know it’s alive because it keeps on showing up on my feed, what a lady dog!
I would think they would eliminate her immediately, not score the whole test and then eliminate her. But I’m not a judge.
Maybe they agreed to let her ride the test for horsemanship and practice’s sake. If they have enough time, why not? Go her!
I have not seen it but I can imagine there might have been a brief conversation about letting her go ahead and ride so she could get the feedback and experience, even though it would officially be an E.
