Is there a such thing as a Foxhunting DVD?

Not a how-to, but more like a documentary of hunts with great footage of hunts in action? I’ve done a few searches online, but can’t really find anything. I’m looking for something I can watch and enjoy while curled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea.

Yes, there are but they are not available in this country.

They have a decent selection of videos/DVD’s of hunting in the UK, IRE and US. Don’t think there are any DVD’s of hunting in France, though.

They also have DVD’s of beagling and basseting (I’m always pimping for foothunting!)

I think many of them are documentaries of specific hunts, rather than treatises on the art of venerie.

The website is difficult to go through, a better bet would be calling the store.

There is also a nice little book on scent that is for sale on the MFHA.com website. It was put together as part of a panel discussion at one of the hunt staff seminars the MFHA holds.

Check out this video - it’s just lovely. http://mfha.com/

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve skipped the intro… Wow. Wonderful slide show right up to the end - “The Future of Foxhunting” with the adorable kids.

there are some great videos out of england by people on the hunt! one’s with the Co. Limerick, great country!

but I guess Co. Limerick is Ireland, my bad.

I used to have a video about the Quorn; not sure if anyone plays videos anymore.
