Last I heard was he came out of surgery fine and had a lot of obstacles ahead. Any updates since the morning after surgery?
His injury was career ending and he has been retired.
Yeah I know he is retired. Just wondering because he had surgery over a month ago and we haven’t heard anything on how he is recovering.
If it was bad news, something probably would have been announced. Otherwise, I’d imagine the connections figure people already know he is still recovering.

They had one update and said surgery had gone as well as could be expected and nothing since. Doesn’t sound super promising but he must still be with us or we’d have heard that much.
Here’s a fairly recent update from this month. He’s still at the clinic and has started to go outside. They still aren’t giving many details (nor do they have to), but it sounds like very slow progress. Hopefully he has managed to dodge or at least work around laminitis.

Magnum Moon has definitely kept a low profile. Glad to hear he is still making progress, albeit slow.
Remember Barbaro made it 8 months in ICU at New Bolton (geese, 13 years ago was the Preakness in which Barbaro was injured).
