I leave tomorrow to be there for the full eventing extravaganza. From what I’ve read, I’m going to need a fair bit of actual cash for parking and food. Is there an ATM inside the park (and if so, where?) or do I need to carry four days’ of cash the whole time?
There are MILLIONS, but I am not sure what the fees are and would not be surpirsed if they are upward of $5.
EVERYTHIGN is cash only. EVERYTHING. Very, very few vendors–food or otherwise–take cash, and programs, day sheets etc., are cash only.
My bank refunds all fees to ATMs–meaning I use my card for free, no matter where I am. It’s one of the coolest features ever.

The main food tent (west of the outdoor stadium) takes credit/debit cards.
.
Every place I’ve been so far here (and I’ve been here for 3 days) takes credit cards…
I’ve been here since Saturday last, and everywhere takes credit cards or debit cards with the exception of the official show program vendor, which is cash only.
During the height of the rain storm yesterday, Bit of Britain lost their computer system, and could not complete a single transaction - credit or otherwise. That was the only time I’ve seen a credit card refused, and it wasn’t by choice!
Oh–I wasn’t talking vedors, I havent made it to the trade show yet.
The food in the stadium is all cash–but they have changed the rule about not exiting. The big tent does take CC, but most of the others were cash only. Maybe I’m just not finding the right ones.
