Is this a good match?

Thank you! And that is very helpful. I don’t necessarily want a hunter, I am happy wherever the horse ends up. I just happened to notice a lot of lovely hunters are Casall.

My friend owns 2 Casalls and they are night and day. The gelding is smallish 16.1 when he’s ready to be shod), quirky, (as in it takes a log of leg ti get him going unless he is fresh. Then all bets are off and he may exit the ring if you get him mad), beautiful (he looks like Casall and is very TB in type), brave, takes a joke, beautiful mover and has a ton scope. IOW, he is Caretino. The mare is big, scopy, brave, beautiful mover, attractive but not beautiful and has zero quirk. Casall is tricky to use. I probably would not use on a maiden until you see what she brings to the table.

If you like Caretino Kimmie Risser has frozen from Jac d’Potes. He was entirely produced by his Amateur Owner and did at least the high Amateur jumpers.

My gut reaction is Diarado for this mare. The only caveat is size but he hits a lot of your desires.

Ok so in the embryo transfer your vet is not collecting eggs. They breed the mare as if she were going to carry the foal herself and the n flush it out and transfer it into another mare. Much less invasive and uncomfortable for the mare than harvesting eggs

I’m definitely looking for the least invasive route. Thank you for clarifying!

I do love a lot of Diarado’s I see. I’ll look into him, thanks!

I would potentially take a look at Donthargos, imo I think he could throw a hunter. He is a little lighter framed, longer legs, moves good, and jumps really well. I haven’t used him and don’t know any offspring personally but I have liked some that I have seen videos of.
