Is this a Niedersuss saddle?

I was thrown off by the Custom Saddlery nailhead. I’m not in the market for a dressage saddle, but I was surprised to see this on the Goodwill website. Any dressage saddle aficionados who can clear this up? Thanks!

It’s hard to tell from the pictures… what’s with the CS and Hippo nailheads? It does look like my KN though, that one close up of the pommel of the saddle matches mine… Which is an older Symphonie, I think.

Hippostar is a particular saddle made by KN. No idea what the custom saddlery nailhead is, though. The pommel does very much look like my Symphonie.

Weird.

But the hardware on the saddle stirrup bars says “sprenger”, so it’s indeed a quality saddle no matter what brand…

Yes, that’s a Hippostar – betting it’s one of the older Hippostars without the point billet. Awesome saddle. I have one and will not ever sell it. The custom saddlery button may be a repair/replacement.

Buy it!

Guessing a nailhead fell out, and someone replaced it with a CS nail? Definitely a Neidersuiss. If the tree is good, that is a killer deal!

Thank you, everyone! I’m not in the market for a dressage saddle, but maybe somebody else will be. (My middle aged muscles prefer close contact saddles and a few ap’s. I just sold my Stubben Romanus, because while I loved the saddle, my hips did not. Sigh…) If the tree is sound, it would be a great deal, and the shipping seems reasonable, too. Thanks again!!

Can anyone guess from the pix what tree width and seat size it likely is?

Also have a Collegiate AP saddle and this one:
