ISO Boarding Stable in the Aurora or King City Ontario Area

Looking for advice on hunter/ jumper barns in the Aurora or King City Ontario area for boarding. One retired show horse and one show horse. Price dependant on facilities. Own vet /farrier required. Thanks!

There are so many barns around there that I don’t know where to start.

What’s your price range?
How much turnout do you want?
A circuit or Trillium?
Do you need training rides?
Do you need a barn that’s open 7 days a week with extended hours? Or are you ok with a barn that closed Mondays, doesn’t open until 9am, etc?

My ideal would be a low key A barn with a coach that is good a developing green horses. Budget would be around 2500 for both horses - one being retired and just needing quality care the other in training. Full day turnout is best. Group is fine. Closed Monday unless holidays is okay and ideally 8am to 9 pm would be beneficial. Thanks.

Not sure if you’re on some of the Ontario FB groups, but they might have more numerous and relevant replies for you. I’ve posted discussions on “ONTARIO EQUINE MARKETPLACE & EQUINE REAL ESTATE” before and gotten some great recommendations from locals. That’s actually how I found my current part board in the King City-ish area!

Just be sure to have all your requirements/stipulations listed in the ISO post and be prepared to sort through people posting barns that are way out of your geographical range lol!
