ISO "Cash for Kate" 2009 Unraced TB Mare, IA bred, by Added Edge out of Sharlilly

This is a long shot, but I bought a young TB gelding last year who is turning into something pretty special. I’ve since discovered that he has a full sister out there a year older and I’d love to track her down and also have a friend who would possibly like to have her as a broodmare. Her last online trace is when she sold for $12,000 to Larry Cascio in the 2010 Iowa Thoroughbred Owners and Breeder’s Association Mixed Fall Sale. She is unraced and has no recorded offspring.

Any ideas on who to contact? Anyone who might have had word of her?

Wish I could help, but I did want to let you know that I’ve worked with many horses that are full brothers and sisters and they couldn’t be any more different. Just like humans. You get the geek and the athlete in the same family and same parents.

@Divine Comedy Ok so here’s what you do.

Call the Canterbury Park racing office

  • Phone: (952) 496-6474
  • Toll Free: (800) 340-6361
Ask for the phone number for trainer Larry Donlin. (He is the last trainer of record (last fall) to train for Larry Cascio.

Call him, explain what you posted and ask Mr. Donlin if he could reach out to Mr. Cascio for you or help in some way.

That’s the best way.

OR

You could call the business Mr. Cascio runs in Omaha, and ask for him.
