Lake ensign is a now 4 yr old grey TB gelding that was adopted through the KY branch of NV this winter. He was born, raised and started here on my farm and I told the owner that I wanted him back when he was done racing. He injured himself at the track. And, assuming I wouldn’t want the horse injured, the owner ‘gave him to the vet’, who I found out later, was working with the NY Take the Lead program, which in turn gave him to NV. I submitted my adoption application to NV as soon as I saw Lake Ensign listed for adoption, but he was adopted before my paperwork was approved. I would love to hear how he is doing, and to share info, pictures, etc with his new owner (he has a new baby sister born Wed am!), and to offer him a home here, under whatever circumstances, no questions asked. NV also knows that I will give him a home regardless, but I want to make sure his adopter knows as well, and also how much this boy has been loved. Anyone know where he could be? Thanks!
