ISO: Pony cart for 42" Shetland pony

I’m in the New Orleans area and I’ve been looking for months for an EE cart or meadowbrook ish cart for my pony. No show cart or anything fancy, just a fun and safe cart for driving on roads and gravel roads.

I’m willing to go 4 to 5 hrs outside of the city.

Rats. I have one, I’m just much too far away in Washington state.

Where in Washington State? I have a new 41" Shetland pony.

Just outside Olympia, in Rochester. PM me, I will try to find the cart pics I have. I used it for a 40" Shetland, and have training harness as well.

Check out Kingston, free shipping. I just bought one for my 39" pony.

I bought this one. http://www.kingston-saddlery.com/kss.asp?sel=product&id=C2271.53S&typ_id=60&cat=HORSE%20CART

I also got a whip holder and the bag that goes underneath the seat for stuff.

Thanks on the Kingston, may have found a cart that fits our needs, the free shipping really is a good bonus. Found one with solid tires so will hopefully be ordering it by the end of the month.

I did see one with adjustable shafts for pony up to horse size, that doesn’t seem like it would work. I have a 16.3 STB so having the cart fit a 42" Shetland and him doesn’t seem logical.

I’ve not used easy entries like this before so that maybe my confusion.

They have a size chart on their website that recommends what size shafts and wheels to use. I went up a size on the wheels. I have 27" solid wheels and my pony is only 39". http://www.kingston-saddlery.com/kss.asp?sel=Cart%20Dimensions

The 53" curved shafts are a good size for my pony. With a 42" pony I would think you would go with the 48-55" shafts if you are going straight and the 72-82" size for the horse. You would want the horse sized cart for the horse and probably the mini sized cart for the pony.
