i’ve been trying to find private photographers that could go to del mar, california next month for junior hunter finals west, and both sara shier and anasofia vasquez (top california private client photographers) will be in michigan. if anyone knows another photographer that could come to del mar to take professional horse show photos and videos, please let me know!

You could also ask Lindsey Long or Kristin Lee. Private photographers have to apply to be there and submit client lists, so the show should also be able to give you an idea of who will be on site that week.

Have no idea how this might get impacted by the recent date shuffling—Oaks/Blenheim had junior hunter finals and now it’s Del Mar (so HITS?)
For HITS private photographers have to apply, pay $1K for the week, and submit a client list before the show. HITS photo policy
Might be worth contacting Lindsey or some of the other photographers as they might have a better idea of what’s going on than the show managers. And they tend to work together pretty well.
Also might work to do an ISO on FB’s Thermal Classifieds group.
It looks like Amy McCool is shooting for High Desert Sports Photo at the HITS shows. Sometimes the OP also does some private clients.
Amy is listed as the OP for the rated show at the Oaks that partially overlaps with junior hunter finals.
Yes, we are apparently in an unintended experiment with the mileage rule out here thanks to the issues the Oaks had with Coastkeepers and USEF and then the USEF presidential fiat that gave us conflicting dates as the solution.
