that’s all, thanks! We have never had a puppy. We have always adopted adult dogs, but my husband will not do that now that we have small kids. We both feel like the puppy should be exposed to the wildness of our house, esp a dane.
Go online and look for the national great Dane club and local or regional clubs. They usually have a breeder referral service. Be prepared, however, to answer a lot of questions about your dog experience, household make-up and situation and to provide references. Also be aware that many breeders will not sell puppies to people with very young children.
PM me. I know a wonderful breeder…we had 3 of his…and he became a close friend. He raised his Danes with his young son and now grandson, so I don’t believe he has any issues with kids and puppies.
