I found it, but it isn’t as easy to use. Maybe it’s my browser, but I don’t like it.

We’re looking into more, but just wanted to reiterate some of the top issues for folks coming onto this thread later. Some of these issues were fixed on the beta site, but the fixes didn’t carry over to the live one, and others only became apparent under normal use once we switched 'er on.
Evenstar, findeight, etc. thanks so much for the info about un-clicking the compatibility view icon for Internet Explorer v. 9 users who’d been using compatibility view to read the old site. I’ve added that to the general announcement so folks can hopefully find that info more easily.
Going to check in the with development crew for a status report.

I’m not sure when this started, but mine is now stretching out across the whole screen - I have to scroll sideways to read the entirety of a post. Does not seem to matter what browser, I’ve had the issue with both Firefox and Chrome.

I felt that way at first too, but I stuck with it because it’s my only entertainment in a boring office. When you hit “Today’s Post” and the titles are cut off, that is really difficult. At first I went forum by forum.
I’m still not used to it, but it is getting better. There is, honestly, something oddly repelling about something… maybe it’s the red.

I’m sorry if this has been mentioned but I’m don’t have the time at the moment to go through eleven pages and wanted to comment before I forgot!
I’m having major trouble posting on my mobile device. The text box is hard to navigate and if I go back to edit something I’ve written, it’s nearly impossible to get my courser over the correct word. Just now I had to copy all that i had written and paste it into another program to edit and finish typing.
I’d love a mobile site or app! I never had problems typing on my phone before the upgrade, but so far it’s been a pain every time
Thank you for getting rid of the red! But…can you unbold it? Just having the thread title bolded is plenty to show which thread’s haven’t been read yet. I don’t think we need to bold the author, views, etc too. Thanks!

I agree. An app might be nice now that so many people use the phone for the BB.

This is what I was thinking too. Love that the red is gone. I also love that the read threads are totally different looking than the not read threads but…
Is it possible to make the not read threads not all bold. The date and views (which still reads zero) and all that stuff does not really need to be bold too. Just the title is plenty.
Thank you for all the hard to work to address the issues we are having. Having to upgrade and then getting flack for it has to be very frustrating for everyone.

I’m with you, vineyridge. It seemed like a really minor complaint that I didn’t bring up earlier, but after 3 days I’m realizing how much I miss the GO button. Please, please bring it back!

Is it just me or is there way more spam? Almost every single day there will be a half dozen spam posts at the top of the forum. I have reported three sets of them myself, and I’ve seen at least two other sets reported by other people.
I think there’s a spam blast in every forum this morning. I just reported three set of like 6 spam posts.
I don’t remember it being this bad.

I thought there was an increase in spam last week, even before the BB change. Not sure what’s up with that, but it’s annoying.
