Noticed that Vineyridge wanted to include fillies in the 2017 Triple Crown thread, but trying to think Distaff is hard to do when it ain’t happening. No Triple Crown for fillies, unless you are thinking NY’s Triple Tiara. Fillies need their own thread. Haskin wrote we need one back in 2014. Nothing happened. Ashame. Especially this year with Unique Bella. John White writes he sees Winning Colors in this Hollendorper/Smith collaboration.

No offense, but juvenile distaff and oaks conversation needs a little competition to base it on. Lack of excitement across the remainder of this filly crop is boring.

I doubt that she races unshod. The racing form would have to indicate that.

Farrell and Unique Bella are at the top, both with 70 points. In her last win Mike Smith had to use the whip on Unique Bella. It was not the best trip for her.

I ran into a replay of the Honeybee online. It Tiz Well is a gorgeous filly. I like her body type very much. I’m not saying she’s on the level of Unique Bella, but if she fails as a racehorse, I wouldn’t mind taking her off their hands.
