See a dressage “steal of a deal”? Do TELL!
I’ll be following this one!
Well this is a good idea. If someone sees a steal of a deal on a Stubben Dressage saddle with a 17.5 or 18" seat or a Bates Caprilli or Isabelle with same I would love to know. I am getting ready to start a four year old who will likely outgrow whatever I buy him in the not too distant future. Thanks!

Yeah, probably, but since that Houston craigslist thread lasted a few days, I thought it might work. I’m SURE you can’t post WHAT YOU NEED (sorry BC! 
) or WHAT YOU HAVE FOR SALE…those ads belong in the classifieds section! So maybe, more Craigslist stuff you run across or EBAY stuff that’s expiring within 24 hours (STUFF CAN BID UP REALLY QUICKLY)
Posts will be allowed here if they’re directed people to a bargin offered by a third person. NO direct advertisements by a poster offering something for sale will be allowed, as per advertising rules, but you are allowed to bring a good deal offered by someone else to others’ attention.

I do run into quite a few “deal” saddles though.

Kieffer dressage saddle, $350, looks to be in good condition. No idea on size or tree, but if you are close, totally worth a trip to check it out!

I just found myself a new Kieffer Natascha bridle with two sets of reins for $100.
Promise though… if I find more great deals that I don’t want I’ll pass them on!
OK, when I first heard about “Himalayan Salt Blocks” I almost snorted tea through my nose, thinking “oh, boy, what a gimmick.” Then a friend got them for her horses and reported they were consuming more salt. We live on the hot, humid Texas Gulf Coast. Last summer was especially bad. My horses did not TOUCH their salt blocks - either white or mineral. I supplemented electrolytes all summer. I finally broke down and bought some “Himalayan salt” from SmartPak - and my horses immediately started using them, have not quit, and drink much more water in their stalls overnight.
And then I found virtually the same thing on Ebay - and it works out to about HALF what I paid on SmartPak. It’s 24 lbs (6 ‘spools’) so those with just one horse may want to go in with someone, but $51 including shipping! I bought some in Feb and they are bigger than the ones I got from SmartPak. The seller shipped very promptly.
