I am still giddy from my new saddle purchase. Last year someone on COTH posted about the big STUBBEN sale. Sadly I was two days too late for the size I needed.
I don’t do Facebook but someone at a message forum posted the FB link and I was made aware a few days before. So when the list was posted at noon on the 26th I was on the phone lickety-split to STUBBEN.

Only sold because my horse outgrew it. As I was selling it found out the tree is adjustable by Custom Saddlery on a Saddle Devil [smacks forehead].
They’re lovely saddles and the wool panels are exceptional as Keith uses a special method he calls tri-wool.
If anyone here wins this saddle I have a KB branded fitted dust cover I can send you for free.
This is a great saddle for a broad short back, the tree on mine was just curvy enough that it didn’t want to bridge.
Tempted to buy it and hoard it for future but I have saddles I need to sell as it is.

Rambo Optimo Alert on ebay!
There’s right now a 75 rambo optimo on ebay for 350 if no one runs up the price. Says it was used only a few times . And it has an extra 200gm liner which does not come with the blanket normally.
Lots cheaper than the going retail. Altho I normally do not recommend buying a “used” blanket, the optimo has only been out for a year. And always ask the seller if the blanket is waterproof. Keep that email/message and then if the blanket isn’t waterproof, you can get your money back.
These blankets are over 400 now and with just the one 400gm liner. I need that 200gm liner.

This is down to 300.00. It has the wider tree at 32 cm. I checked it out via email for a girl at my barn. She needs a narrow tree. Anyway, someone needs to snap this up…not me even though I love saddle shopping. Saddle looks to be in great condition.
Ooh…and it’s still available. Hope it will work for me! Wonder why it’s so cheap.

Wow, this went for $102! It says no brand found, but it looks like a well made saddle, and the photos aren’t of anywhere where a brand plaque would be. If someone here won this auction, please let us know more about the mystery saddle!

isnt that dandy only ships to lower 48. People its not that hard to ship to canada! Nor is it that much more expensive cuz duty hits our side!! Comon ppl and smartpak
