I decided to “go for it” too. I ordered the slim - hope they aren’t too tight! I wear the regular calf in Ariats. The regular calf measruement on the Treadstone seemed more like the full calf in Ariats.
Oh, good, paintlady. I hope they are wide. I have super wide calfs and even the widest they had was a little small in measurements, so I hope they run big.

I don’t know how they run. I was torn between the slim and regulars. My calf measures exactly 13.5", so I went with the slim. I was afraid the regulars would be too big. I hope the slims still have a bit of room though. I don’t want them too tight especially since it doesn’t appear that these have any sort of gusset on them.

County Saddle $375
County Saddlery English Dressage Saddle - $375 (Sonora, CA)
This is an older County Saddlery Dressage saddle that has been lovingly taken care of and shows normal signs of use for it’s age and i have found this saddle to be very comfortable for horse and rider (i’m only selling because I need a slightly larger seat). I will try to point out everything even if it’s minor because all sales are final no returns (divorce situation). The billets are in nice shape and actually I had more holes added so I could use either a dressage girth or a long girth so I love having that option. The seat is a 16 1/2 and the saddle is a medium tree Fit #3. The stamping on the underflap is very very difficult to read because of the use etc but County Saddlery Spring Tree Made in England 16 1/2 seat and Fit #3 - please enlarge pictures so you can see all the details. The panels in the front underside do show superfical cracking or lines just cosemtic and under the pommel area on one side (see photo) there is an approx 1/2" wear the leather is worn and you can see inside the panel so you can just patch with a small piece of leather if you want i had intended on doing so but haven’t found a piece where the color matches but again just cosmetic no big deal. the back of the cantle shows a little wear - the saddle has very nice knee blocks and is very comfortable. 2 dee rings in front and it also says County right under the biller keeper (but again hard to read) I think for the saddle age you will be very pleased with the workmanship and the condition of the leather etc it has been very nicely taken care of and stored inside for along time. On the himalayan salts blocks…the Vermont Mineral Museum sells them for $20 each for a 12-14 pound block. They last a long time and do not break or crack around the rope (included).

I bought it as Frodo’s everyday halter. It’s not the best quality, but it is definitely not bad for the price.
