If you live in Colorado and have your own arena there is a good deal on arena crumb rubber. Since it seems I can no longer copy and paste a post, please go to the H-J forum Steal-of-a-Deal thread , post # 104.[/QUOTE]

Can you link to that thread? I am not finding the specific post and we are trying to get our small town arena open to horses but need to improve footing first.
Thanks!

Stubben Avalon-new. Seems to be great deal!

Again, not okay to advertise your own breeches for sale…

Brand new arc de triomphe napoleon bridle, black, on ebay now for $315, which is 1/2 the retain cost. Sale ends in a couple of hours. Wish we didn’t have some many bridles or else we’d bid on it. The ADT bridles are great. We have the Eros and Starman. But would love to have the Napoleon. It’s full size, and a great price.

In the spirit of All Hallow’s Eve, I thought I would bring this thread back to life.
I saw this ad on my local craigslist
http://allentown.craigslist.org/grd/4161760988.html
16.5" County Dressage saddle $75 Lehigh Valley, PA

I don’t ride dressage and certainly not a 16.5". The price seems to good to be true so I am wondering if they dropped a zero off the end. But on the odd chance they didn’t and somebody was in the market I figured I would post it.

There is a great deal on a Duett wide (35cm) 17in black dressage saddle in English Tack Trader only $800 shipped - on FB here’s the link:

Just out of curiosity, does duett EVER make anything other than a wide? I have a local place with el cheapo dutetts, but never other than a wide. I own neither a draft horse, nor a moor pony, and it would be nice to see if a medium or medium wide duett would fit my boy.

Well their range is 32cm to 42cm for the Fidelio model. The 32cm is a med wide - so you should check that place out and try out some saddles !!

OK, when I first heard about “Himalayan Salt Blocks” I almost snorted tea through my nose, thinking “oh, boy, what a gimmick.” Then a friend got them for her horses and reported they were consuming more salt. We live on the hot, humid Texas Gulf Coast. Last summer was especially bad. My horses did not TOUCH their salt blocks - either white or mineral. I supplemented electrolytes all summer. I finally broke down and bought some “Himalayan salt” from SmartPak - and my horses immediately started using them, have not quit, and drink much more water in their stalls overnight.

And then I found virtually the same thing on Ebay - and it works out to about HALF what I paid on SmartPak. It’s 24 lbs (6 ‘spools’) so those with just one horse may want to go in with someone, but $51 including shipping! I bought some in Feb and they are bigger than the ones I got from SmartPak. The seller shipped very promptly.

The great thing about these too is they don’t melt in the weather! I had to get a regular one once and the horses thumbed their noses at it.

Great deals on Kerrits closeouts. www.facebook.com/windriverhorse They ship priority mail with tracking.

This store has fantastic deals on Outwear CLoseouts - AND THIS IS THE CUTE STUFF !!!

Treadstone Field Master Boots on ToT for $109

I can beat that. :winkgrin:I found a Schleese for $325 in perfect condition. The tack shop it was on consignment at had no idea what it was worth. I should have bought it just to sell b/c it was downright painful to sit in.
