It's a STEAL of a DEAL! NEW Thread!!!
Just call or e-mail , Martin is a great guy
http://www.mdccorporation.us/
Absolutely, he also has some gorgeous sterling silver spurs direct from him for under $50. Some have the crystals if you like the bling. Some are just lovely with chevrons on them. They are on the website and you have to call to get them. As I understand it they sell really well at Christmas and for Valentine’s Day which is not enough to keep them in the product line so they are being discontinued.

and my mdc’s arrived today, lovely, can’t wait to ride them.
I bought some “seconds” MDC Ultimate Stirrups directly from the manufacturer for $60. They retail for almost $200. They are seconds because they are the black ones and the black is peeling off. But I just am slowly peeling off the rest so they are stainless steel. He said he has several left…
Can I just say thanks for posting this! Upons speaking with Martin it appears he is the inventor of these stirrups. MDC are his initials.
I am the proud owner of a set of these stirrups now too! They will be sent out in the post tomorrow! I can’t wait to try them.

I am loving this thread! It always feels nice to find a bargain.

Not only is it nice to find out about bargains, but to also find the places that have great service. I was very happy dealing with Martin, he is very nice and helpful.

well I just missed the great deal on stirrups, called Martin today and he only had 2 pairs left, one 4.25 in and one 4.5 in and he said with a male rider (eg my son bigfoot) in the family that we need 4.75 in stirrups (which is what I have).

But i did tell him how much I like them and how the pair I have has helped me with my bad knee.

Second the comment that he just seems like a nice guy. It is good to see in this world a retailer who takes pride in their product.

kudos to you all who did score this deal tho!!!

It is at $305 now. But I hate it when sellers cannot answer questions or acknowledge things shown in the photo. There is a very deep indentation in the padded flap and I asked if there was a hole or any damage and the seller just said it did not exist…ummm, it is in the photo very clearly. So you wonder about the overall condition.

I saw that , too.
The seller said there was no mark? You can see it in the pics. I prefer when sellers answer questions within the ad…that way you don’t have to ask the same question again, and it seems like the seller is onthe up and up.

She just now, less than an hour before the end of the auction sent photos of the gullet so I can see the width of the channel. But I am off to work and with still no clarification on the little dent, I will pass.

I love my MDC Ultimates. I purchased them in the Dover Saddlery basement in Plaistow for $100… I have no idea why they were marked down, but I love them! It’s also nice to hear that the inventor is so nice. I hope everyone who has them now likes them as much as I like mine.

FOR SOMEONE WHO NEEDS A REALLY WIDE HOOP TREE SADDLE…

this isn’t dirt cheap, but still a great price considering how much they are new…

Martin was great, very sweet guy, very proud and excited about his product, and rightfully so. Keep calling back every so often, he says he never knows what he’s going to get in thats flawed and therefore discounted.

I’ve always wondered why people put NO RESERVE! in their ad, then have a starting price.

Doesn’t that MAKE it basically a “reserve” bid?

17" Ainsley looks to be Med, mw tree, near new, $795 obo.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160431362434&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I have an ainsley and its a lovely lovely saddle, excellent to ride, nice wide channel, minimal and simple, and the gullet fits generously for the horse, I have a regular W tree and it fits my fattycakes morgan well. I’ll never understand why Ainsley dressage saddles are not more popular, I think they’re wonderful.

If the one shown was a W tree I wouldn’t be sharing this link

Martin at MDC is wonderful! I think it was mentioned already but just in case, he also has sterling silver stirrups (5 different models, with and without crystals) that he is selling at cost $36 to $47. These usually retail well over $100 a pair.

If you are interested, his email address is info@mdccorporation.us.
