OMg does anyone know if PD’s horse is OK?
Hopefully he just got winded. I hope they give us an update on the livestream.
I hope so too!
No update. Shit. Fingers crossed.
I hope Buck Davidson hasn’t broken his collar bone (again.)
It was nice to see so many horses come home looking fresh.
A few frightening falls.
I hope not either, considering he still rode Jak My Style!!!
What an awful way to end the day
It looks like the livestream has stopped
Omg Wasn’t that kind of a relatively not terrifying fence that they fell on compared to the rest??
I don’t remember seeing any other issues at that fence but I didn’t see the first few horses. Interesting that there was still a rotational fall even with the frangible. Reminds me of the gates at Badminton (?) a few years ago. Wasn’t that where Buck broke his collar bone?
Phillip was the last horse which is why the livestream stopped. Super bad weather at the moment.
Is Singapore OK? I didn’t like the look of that, hopefully just the wind knocked out of him.
It wasn’t a particularly bad fall even but all you need is the neck stoved at the wrong angle. Relieved to see PD up. I totally didn’t see that fall coming.
I know, I was just hoping that they would provide us with an update on whether horse and rider were okay, before cutting the stream.
I’m not sure. He’s broken it several times. The right one looks to be almost all metal.
Even if it wasn’t the end, they are probably under orders from the public relations people not to talk about accidents. Hoping someone who was on site will chime in with an update, but I bet everyone is running for cover as the storm moves in.
This is second hand knowledge, but the word is that Singapore is standing up. Again, second hand
Oh thank goodness! I hope it is true!
Thank you!
I hope Caroline Martin and Islandwood Captain Jack are OK. They had a hard fall.
I lost my internet connection and didn’t see anything – hope Singapore and Phillip are okay – the weather was getting so stormy for him and Lauren.
Saw most of Lauren and Patrick – Lauren is such a quiet, effective, supremely skilled rider.
