Jack Towell at Derby Finals

First of all, my goal is to be Jack Towell when I grow up. He is phenomenal and you can just tell he loves the horses so much.

I CANNOT stop re-watching the end of Brunello’s round at derby finals where Jack is leaping around clapping. Would someone be able to capture that and turn it into a .gif for me?

Too bad they didn’t show him leaping from the grandstand into the ring to give Brunello a pat and a treat. Or else I would need that as well

I’m not technologically savvy at all so will someone please help me!

Here’s the link to the video: http://youtu.be/PBGgdT0l5kg
Thanks!

I agree that his reaction was the icing on the cake. That round was absolute perfection. And I watched it on the live feed; I can’t imagine how incredibly awesome it must have been to see it in person.

Oh my goodness, I was there and I seriously had tears in my eyes after watching that round. It was show stopping incredible and so amazing to feel that collective energy in the stadium watching him. I think everyone’s heart leapt with him over every fence. It’s something I will never forget.

I also thought it was super sweet the way he slapped Liza’s thigh as he was walking out. He wasn’t just a proud trainer; he was truly a proud dad in that moment.

I’m one who has always loved the hunter division, so given the fact the the discipline has had nothing but negative feedback for such a long period of time, it’s so nice that so many agree that this event was completely amazing.

I believe there is a GIF floating around on Facebook already. Will try to remember who posted it.

Thank you, Peggy. Anyone who can watch that and not cry is just not human.

I just talked to one of the judges yesterday and she said she and her partner, after the first 3 jumps, put their pens down and just watched. It was mesmerizing, she said. She also said that Mindful was so beautiful, a classic hunter, but Brunello’s scope outshowed every other horse there. Awesome.

An amazing ride. She makes it look so easy and elegant.

Me? He’d have thrown me out of the tack just at his canter, never mind the jumps!
