Amazon Prime is streaming the story of Jappeloup and its a really well done horse film! It’s in french but subtitles are available too. Enjoy!

I love this movie. 15.3h Jappeloup was such a big name back then, little black horse dueling with regal, grey Milton on the international show jumping scene. He was so much fun to watch and so unpredictable.
I also love that the actor, Guillaume Canet, who plays Jappeloup’s rider Pierre Durand, is a rider himself and trained for months for this movie - he’s doing 99% of the riding himself.
