Do any of the western type jeans to ride in come in straight leg? Boot cut looks silly on me.
Sure, Wranglers, which are really the most comfortable as their seams are on the outside (less likely to rub).
Not sure what gender you are but Cruel Girl also makes straight cut.
If you are not riding (and are female) but just like straight cut jeans, you might check out victoria’s secret as well! They have great I-look-hot jeans (just not for riding!!)
I think Carharts make straight cut as well, now that I think about it.
Really? Because they’re cut that way to fit easily over your boots? I would think straight leg jeans wouldn’t fit over your boots tops (be too snug over them, and you could see the outlines of your boot tops through the jeans).
Wrangler has a lot of different cuts and styles, as does Cruel Girl. Sheplers, The Fort and Drysdales tend to have pretty good selections and prices.
I’ve also purchased Old Navy jeans on sale that I ride in regularly (I just buy the long version of my size so the legs don’t ride up the the tops of my boots show).

Wanted a little more stretch. I generally ride in my paddock boots. Gasp… Im a hunter rider. I only ride western on trail.
I did get a pair of the wrangler Q baby jeans. They fit fine but the boot cut legs are huge.
I have to agree with you, Sparky Boy. I am a western rider but do not care for the boot cut that is the style right now. I am trying to find a more straight leg cut to show in (stock horse/ranch events) that is not the old school high-waste Wranglers. I have not had much luck. The legs on all seem HUGE!!!
I love Wrangler Auras. I think they’re supposed to be boot cut, but to me they are very straight legged. and I don’t have any issues with them fitting over any of my boots.
Try Cowgirl Tuff. They look good on most sizes and shapes and come in 3 lengths. They come with no bling all the way up to lots of bling, the cool washes and colors and look great riding or out in public. And i honestly don’t know if they are considered straight leg, but they have room for your boots, but don’t look like bell-bottoms.

I like these Wranglers. Mid rise, called a boot cut but really a pretty straight leg that stacks (look at photos), stretch. They run a size smaller than your normal jeans would. Don’t know the name, going by the number is more accurate. I used to wear the Wrangler slim cut straight leg stretch jeans, but the waist is really high. These are almost the same with a waist at hipbones.
