We are extremely pleased to announce a series of monthly jumping clinics with Jim Wofford at Wayward Springs Farm.
Jim is a highly accomplished United States Olympic and World Championship Eventing Team member with numerous team and individual medals as well as winning the US National Championships five times on five different horses.* Since 1978, Jim has had at least one student on every U.S. Olympic, World Championship and Pan American Eventing team.* He has received accolades as a U.S. Developing Rider Coach and as the Canadian Eventing Team Coach.* We are very excited that Jim has agreed to teach locally at Wayward Springs Farm. *
Dates for upcoming clinics are: Wednesday, March 13; Wednesday, April 10; Thursday, May 30; Wednesday, June 19
Wayward Springs Farm is located in Huntly, Virginia (near Flint Hill, VA) - approximately 8 miles south of Front Royal, VA, approximately 25 miles from Warrenton, VA, and approximately 20 miles from Middleburg, VA. For more information, please visit www.waywardspringsfarm.com
Lessons will be in groups of approximately 4 riders at similar levels (Intermediate - 3’9", Preliminary - 3’7", Training - 3’3", Novice - 2’11").* If there is increased interest, we may develop multiple groups at the same level.* Lessons will last for approximately 75 minutes. Cost is $125 per rider with auditing alone available for $25. The lessons will tentative begin at 8am.
Depending on the weather conditions, the lessons will either take place in our 100’ x 200’ indoor ring or in our 215’x 215’ all-weather (sand and rubber) outdoor arena.
