Because Ann is a smoker; weaning her off the vent will be problematic sad to say. Extra prayers needed.

Monday Update
Ann has gone to stay with her Aunt Mildred and as of last night’s update, was recovering some of her strength. Right now things are on a day to day basis. Will keep everyone posted as I find out things.
Wednesday Update
Ann is gaining strength, but is in the end stages of COPD. She will have “events” that will leave her increasingly worse. In other words, she will never quite be the same again.
Another Update
Ann continues to improve and has managed to stand and take a few steps. Will keep everyone posted.
