Taking suggestions for a clipping pattern??? I’ll probably wait another few weeks before I clip, it was in the low 50s today and I had to wear a gloves and beanie to mow and still had to use to talk-to-text after because my fingers were frozen (granted I slept way, WAY later than I intended because I had to stay up to meet the farrier after work and didn’t get in bed until about 1030am, so I didn’t finish mowing until a little after 8pm)… I’ve seen some neat designs, nothing too complicated though please!
Did they take a canine? My old boy needs one out (he has had 5 out prior, eothr) and the dentist said she can’t do the canine on the farm. No reason given. Did your vet say anything about the canines being difficult? Plus my mini needs 2 out but she can do him on the farm. But I’d like to consolidate this mess if I could into one day.
We need another picture of the entire Burrito, not just gums!
IIRC, I think the canines are still there. He isn’t a fan of me looking, that’s my farrier helping me and it took several takes to get a non-blurry one.
And no, he certainly is NOT suffering weight loss @2DogsFarm In fact I now have to shut my 2 yo’s stall at feeding time because he is up on his back legs in her feed dish helping himself. Absolutely evil. Little porker.
Right I know He is just a pest, even now he earns the title of the post. I was running late for an appointment while using my 4wheeler and manure spreader to muck their paddock, and had to RUUUUUN for it, literally only had time to run to the house and wash my hands and use the damp paper towel to wipe my face and neck and had to show up smelly boots and all. I texted with my SO before I headed back that Odie had probably eaten the seat and stolen the key out of the ignition because I had to leave everything in the paddock when I left. He said Odie had probably figured out how to start it and had driven it through the fence, manure spreader and all.
To the legs? Yes!! When I still had Rory, watching him and Odie do this was insane, because Odie would go for Rory’s legs and Rory would drop all 1200 pounds to his knees and then go for Odie’s little legs and back and forth… it was funny but alsoooooo wince
Fighting over who gets to drive first?
My mini gets locked in his stall for grain as he’ll hoover his. Then stroll next door to the horse’s stall & You gonna finish that?
Herdboss horse is surprisingky accomodating & willing to share.
Which was fine… until mini tried out laminitis & can’t have the oats the other 2 get.
Also I’ve created a monster.
Mini strolls in the service door with me, “helps” unstack hay, then helps himself from the 30gal can of Triple Crown Sr while I prep oats for the other 2.
He will obey “Go to your house” & head for his stall, but those widdle ears are pinned
