Jingles for my little old man - not good news

He has until last night. He didn’t eat good this morning, not even temptations, and just looks like he feels bad, if that makes sense.

I have an appointment tomorrow at 3:30. I could wait longer but…

Thanks for thinking of us. I’ll try to get on the computer later this week and see if I can find my picture of him flat on his back with his front paws tucked under and his back legs on a pillow.

I’m so sorry. Hugs and jingles to you. This is the part of being a kitty mum that never gets easier.

Oh no. I’m sorry to hear this. Big hugs to you, agreed with Alex And Bodie’s Mom, this part never gets easier and we’re never quite ready for it. I’ll be thinking of you and Sammy.

I’m so sorry! Sammy knows you’ll do what’s best for him, but it’s the hardest thing to shoulder the pain alone.

I’m so sorry. I hoped he was doing a little better and you would get some more time with him. It sucks and it’s the worst feeling in the world. Sending you and Sammy love and hugs.

Thank you. I will.

Sweet little man. Hes the only one of mine that actually loves being kissed on the cheek. He snuggles in, closes his eyes and purrs up a storm.

Thank you all. He went peacefully and I gave him kisses and hugs for everyone.

Some of you know how I got him but I was working third shift and someone came in and said they found some a cat on the side of the road with his head stuck.

They bring in a black furry with his head stuck in a salmon can. The lid hadn’t been taken off and it was on there good.

We found a can opener and when we took off the bottom lid the suction released and we were able to take the can off.

He immediately hid under the shredder and once I got him home, stayed under the bed for about three weeks but he turned into the loviest little guy. So sweet. I could pick him up and carry him around like a baby. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Big hugs and jingles this morning from me and the kitties. Those first few days are the hardest, especially if it’s a cat you’ve had to monitor closely for a while. But it does get easier.

so sorry for your loss. Agreed, first hours and days are the most difficult.

It was so much easier back when Mom assured us they went straight to cat heaven.
