Job posting - where besides YardandGroom?

I had no idea YardandGroom.com charged so much for being a member! Where else would an effective place to post a job opening be other than Craigslist ( been there done that)?

(cross posting from another thread, not sure where the best place would be to post this!)

Try some local Facebook groups – we have had success with that in the past. In my area, we have a group for our state h/j association, a city-specific horse group (not particular to h/j), and a statewide general horse group. Your area probably has some similar groups.

Ditto FB.
Also, local association websites and the like.

Depending on where you are there are local websites. For instance in VA there is http://www.virginiaequestrian.com/
Or the Equiery in MD http://equiery.com/blog/

Also depending on where you are;
localhorse.com

If you are located in Southern California;
http://www.socalequine.com/classified07/employment_equestrian.htm

California Bay Area:
https://www.bayequest.info/b001/other_12.htm

equistaff.com don’t know what they cost
Also regular job sites like Monster & Indeed

We have Horse of Delaware Valley and Equine Marketer locally that are both classified paper publications. The Horse also has articles and Equine Marketer is strictly classified ads.

Most of our dressage and eventing clubs have classified sections.

Hang an ad at the local feed store, tack store and the secretary’s desk at local horse shows.

Depending on what type of job and location you may be able to reach out to the local college with equine studies. They may have students or former students looking and have a means to reach out to them.
