I have not, but my friend who rides pretty much only on a ranch has. She had a lot of very good things to say about riding with him. She rode in a couple of clinics that were pretty much open to ranchers only, where you brought a colt (unstarted or recently started) as well as an older using horse.
I have also been impressed with his articles for Eclectic Horseman magazine and their video magazine, the Horseman’s Gazette.
Joe is awesome, don’t turn down any opportunity to ride with him.
My friend took her reactive young TB event prospect to a student of his for “camp”. The idea is to get him more confident, less explosive & better broke. The youngster is doing great, & the trainer is riding him in a Joe Wolter clinic next weekend.

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE him!! Audited two of his clinics, friend rode in one, it is on my bucket list to ride w/him at some point.
He is just super kind and has the best eye of anyone I have seen.
