I am looking to send my guy for finishing to JMD in Jan. He is a former 5* rider and now does clinics and training. I have gotten my guy to Novice and he thinks he would be a great Training level horse and I am looking to send him for 3 months in Jan. He is based in SC so better weather than KS! Anyone have any experiance?

Yay from me. He’s helped me a lot. He was based in Tryon last summer, and I got a lot out of the lessons I took with him. He’s coming back to the area next week, and I plan to get back in with him for the fall.
I really like how he handled my guy and am excited he will take him for 3 months.
I grew up riding with JM, always been a sweet, intelligent, kind and tactful rider, even when we were on ponies! So glad and proud to see what he’s developed into today. You get the YES from me!
I am only hearing wonderful things about him. I agree. When he rode my guy who was giving him crap, he was firm but tactful. I’m very excited he has agreed to take him into training. But I still felt the need to put out feelers as this horse is my child, lol.
